Ford Introduces The Flex Crossover Wagon
King’s New Ford in Cincinnati, Ohio has a wide selection of Used trucks and New F150.
The Ford Flex combines characteristics from both a minivan and SUV making it a very custom crossover that is perfect for a large number of drivers. Unveiled in 2005 the Flex hit the road in 2008 replacing the Ford Freestar becoming the star of Ford’s ‘electrify the night’ promotion.
The Flex is available in 4 trim levels: SE, SEL, Limited, and Titanium.
The SEL offers everything you love about the SE, plus: Ford SYNC, dual-zone climate control, AM/FM/CD/MP3 6-disc changer, SIRIUS satellite radio, power heated mirrors, woodgrain accents, universal garage door opener, cargo net, and 18-inch machined alloy wheels.
The Flex Limited is equipped with voice-activated navigation system, SIRIUS satellite radio, Sony audio system, leather-trimmed seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, ambient lighting, power heated mirrors with memory, security approach lamps, HID headlights, LED taillights, satin-aluminum liftgate, refrigerated middle console, and 19-inch finished aluminum wheels.
The Ford Flex has all the luxuries you could ask for in a crossover SUV, the interior options include: Voice-Activated Navigation System with SIRIUS Travel Link™, SYNC® In-Car Connectivity System, Ice Blue™ interior lighting perforated leather steering wheel insert with painted Alloy Metallic accents, steering wheel with cruise and audio controls, overhead console with map lights and sunglass holder, universal garage door opener, cargo lamp over 3rd-row, storage pockets for all doors, solar-tinted front windows and windshield, manual tilt/telescoping steering wheel, cargo net, 3 assist grab handles, map pockets on front seatbacks, and power window switch bezel.
When it comes to power and handling the Flex will not sell you short; with a 3.5L DOHC, 24-valve Duratec® V6 engine, six-speed automatic transmission, Front Wheel Drive, independent front and rear suspension, AdvanceTrac® with Roll Stability Control™, four-wheel disc Anti-lock Brake System, and power rack-and-pinion steering.
The Flex has many exterior features including, rear window defroster with 2-speed wiper/washer, Easy Fuel™ – capless fueling system, black painted roof, grooved door panels, and a unique greenhouse FLEX badge on leading edge of the hood.
The Ford Flex is defiantly built with safety in mind; safety features include, height-adjustable front seat safety belts with Belt-Minder® System, child safety rear door locks, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, and illuminated entry with theater dimming lighting.
