Preview Of The New Ford Models For 2012.
The new Ford Focus for 2012 is going to be one of Ford’s top selling models of the year. A price tag of just under $16,000 is what the base S Sedan will carry. The four-door Focus Titanium is the top seller in this line starting at $25,099. Either as a Sedan or a Hatchback, Ford Focus is available in both versions with different trims including SE and SEL. With this model the options available are :
1. 6 speed dual automated clutch transmission
2. an SE sport appearance package
3. a power sun roof
4. For the SEL and Titanium trim models an optional navigation and leather package.
2012 Mustang options include the V6, V6 Premium Coupe or Convertible, GT Coupe and Convertible, and of course, The Boss. After a gap of 40 years, Ford is coming out with the new Boss, which is going to a hot-seller.
The Boss is quickly becoming known as the quickest, best handling production car ever produced by Ford. It is still available in the vintage color schemes that any car lover would easily recognize.
Inside the new Boss the steering wheel is covered with Alcantara and the door panels and dash are a dark metallic color. Bucket seats are an option with these models. The engine in the new Boss is a GT 5,0 liter which has been upgraded to include new intake runners. The camshafts have been revised along with sturdier engine controls which will allow the input to go from 412 hp to 440 hp.
A really interesting feature of the Boss is that it has a quad exhaust system and what this does is allow the car to have a more unique sound. The Boss 302 Laguna Seca is perfect for someone who wants a hard core car. This model forgoes the rear seat and many comfort features in exchange for more of a racing feel.
The ever popular Ford Escape gets a new design for 2012. This unique SUV compact will definitely look considerably slimmer and at the same time be very much fuel efficient. The new Ford Escape is designed to be a world car with one model being available to everyone. Only time will tell if the latest concept of Ford will prove as lucrative as foreseen.
