Now, there are miles of beach that are vacant and all yours to explore and relax on, the off-season provides the best environment to relax in.

These mustangs believed to be brought here early along with settlers have amazingly survived the harsh conditions of the Island. Most people prefer motorboats, but if you are looking for real quiet maybe you could take a row boat. Nags Head: Received it’s name from pirates walking a Nag (horse) along the beach with a lantern hanging around it’s neck. Visiting Outer Banks Cottages in the off-season is a closely guarded secret for longtime vacationers. A driving license should be sufficient to get you into a boat.
