Modified cars areclosely associated with car enthusiasts, teenagers and unfortunately unsafe boy racers who have a lack of decorum. However, subtle modifications made to cars can harbour a sense of unique sophistication about them. Thisample list classifies what I believe to be the nicest cars to modify in a tasteful manner; of course modifying any car is a subjective matter that only the owner can justify to themselves.
5. BMW 3 Series
The BMW 3 series 2010 coupe is a sensible, yet fierce car that is ideal for modifying, whether it is to the engine itself, or to the beautiful streamlined car body. With the latest 325i coupe, the 3 series combines genuine luxury, performance and an exciting twin-turbo, which achieves a respectable output of 300bhp. The BMW 3 series is not for the typical young driver to modify due to its cumbersome price tag, yet such potential modifications made to the latest 2010 model would boast a level of fine class and individuality. The exterior styling is already very attractive, consequently I would recommend only re-configuring what lies under the bonnet, tweaking the twin turbo engine could further enhance the significant power that this car houses.
4. Subaru WRX
This rally enthused turbo charged sedan had to be included within the list. Although its body styling is not the most visually appealing to the eye, the power behind this Impreza is phenomenal. With 265bhp at its disposal, the WRX can perform 0-60 in less than 6 seconds. Many rally enthusiasts decide to tinker with the engine further, such as installing a short block turbo kit, or upgrading the manufacturers exhaust, intake to a much more efficient branded alternative. WRX’s appearance is one that can be considerably improved on with a body kit, or a paint job different from, the standard team Subaru blue. Overall the WRX is a distinctive car that appeals to many rally enthusiasts and younger drives who want to turn head’s.
3. Ford Mustang GT
This American muscle car could be considered an icon, its overwhelming presence, performance and aggressive power; makes it a perfect car to play with. The latest 2010 model has a brand new appearance that is complimented by its well-tailored interior design. There is no clear justification as to why one would want to modify this power house, though; slight modifications could pay respect to its already well designed body work. Acustomized paintjobor a new set of alloys would help to finish and add individual character to the iconic mustang, without necessarily breaking the bank.
2. Fiat 500
Although this may not seem an obvious contender, the Fiat 500 is a modifiers ideal car. With an extensive list of easily available mods that can be installed, the customization possibilities are endless. 1. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X
The 10th generation 5-speed manual 400bhp power evolution X is top of the list due to its overall performance, rally inspired design and shear agile ability. In direct competition with Subaru’s WRX, the lancer evolution X is ideal for performance modification. The 2-litre, four cylinder, twin-cam, 16-valve design architecture easily allows any modifier to enhance the performance of this dynamically well-tuned car.
